Switching on the Christmas lights in Palma 23

400 km of garlands, 3016 light installations will decorate the trees and streets of Mallorca. On Thursday 23 November, the eagerly awaited Christmas lights switch-on ceremony will take place. On this occasion, the city will come alive with parades of acrobats, jugglers, giants and the common thread will be the magic of light. The three main shows will start at Teatre Mar i Terra, Sa Feixina Park and Paseo del Born, starting at 6.30 p.m. and move towards the city centre. The centrepiece of the festivities will be Queen's Square where a show will start at 7 p.m. and at 8 p.m. there will be the switching on of the lights. The symbolic act of switching on will be carried out by the Monti Sion Foundation, a social entity that offers help to people and families at risk of social exclusion. Also on Thursday is the opening of the Christmas market stalls. A show not to be missed! We, from MMR22, will be there!
