TAKE PART IN MOTORCYCLE EVENTS IN MALLORCA - 2026

Did you know that during your motorcycling holiday in Mallorca, whilst enjoying one of our Ducati hire bikes, you can experience and actively be part of the strong motorcycling spirit of this fantastic island? The Mallorcans have always been passionate motorcyclists; they are the first to make the most of the island’s many roads all year round and constantly organise events, fairs and tours that anyone can join.

There are also plenty of local events that usually combine tours on roads little known to the general public with lunches or ‘snacks’, where people get to know one another and exchange experiences, opinions, and so on. The Mallorcans are very friendly and hospitable people, always happy to make new acquaintances.

By renting a Ducati from MMR22, you can take part in one of these events.

Below we list some of the most important ones, organised by national and international bodies that attract motorcyclists from all over Europe. This year there will be no fewer than 35 official events!

The Balearic Motorcycling Federation (FBM) has published the new official calendar of motorcycling events for 2025 in Mallorca; any of our motorcycling customers wishing to take part can ask us for further information.
2026 CALENDARIO MOTOTURISMO FBM

We kick off 2026 with the 12th edition of the Iron Motard, organised by the Club Media Milla and taking place in January to coincide with the celebrations for San Sebastián, the patron saint of Palma, and San Antonio, which are the island’s most important festivals. The event consists of five stages on roads open to traffic and tests the skill and endurance of the participants. The aim is not speed, but to complete the route covering the fewest possible kilometres. Time is also irrelevant. Whether you take part individually or as a co-pilot, the Iron Motard rewards navigational skills, whilst always respecting the Highway Code.

Among the many events taking place, we would highlight the 50th Volta Internacional en Moto – a key stage of the Spanish Motorcycle Touring Cup – scheduled for 15–17 May, and also the 46th Volta Nocturna Internacional, scheduled for 12 September.

Both events start on Palma’s seafront promenade, which is closed to traffic for the occasion. The sea on one side and ‘La Seu’ Cathedral provide the backdrop. The Paseo Marítimo will be filled with thousands of motorbikes, and various commercial stands will also be set up for the occasion. Seeing the Paseo “occupied” by so many motorbikes and hearing their roar at the start, which vibrates through your chest, seeing the most diverse range of models from every year and make; this alone is worth it and will give you a unique and unforgettable thrill. Then, riding together along the most beautiful roads of Mallorca, closed to traffic for the occasion, and passing through the inland villages amidst the amazement and enthusiasm of the locals will make your “DUCATI EXPERIENCE IN MALLORCA” even more thrilling.

On 11 October, the “Princesas del Asfalto”, a women’s motorcycling group founded by Ducati rider Gema del Valle, showcase the charitable side of motorcycling with the 8th rally known as “Chaleco Rosa” (Pink Vest). The aim of the event is not only to bring together a large number of passionate female and male motorcyclists, but also to raise funds which are donated each year to charities promoting research into treatments for serious illnesses.

This year, we would also like to highlight:

28 June: the 30th Moto Rock Rally in Palma

18 July: the 1st Ruta Nocturna in Son Servera

22 August: the 6th Dark Iron Motard Palma

11 October: Ruta Menorca Palma

9–10–11: 22nd HD Calvià Anniversary

24 October: Ruta Malats de Moto

and many other dates which you can find on our BLOG.

These events, which attract thousands of motorcyclists from all over the world every year and are well worth attending at least once, will let you experience the passion and infectious energy of Mallorca’s motorcycling community, which welcomes countless enthusiasts to the island each year.

As mentioned, there are many motorcycle clubs on the island, and of course there is also an Official Ducati Club for the Balearic Islands, which organises regular meet-ups and rides to share a passion for the Italian brand.

The important thing is to take part together and feel part of the best family in the world:
