The village of Caimari at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana celebrates the 'green gold' festival in November. Olives, oil, agri-food products and local handicrafts, as well as popular traditional events enliven this 'pueblo' for two days.

Visiting Majorca at any time of the year is always an exciting experience.
In the months when there are fewer tourists, one can really enjoy the authenticity of this place. There are many opportunities for those who want to immerse themselves in fun, relaxation and local traditions, not to mention the incredible gastronomic offerings.

In Caimari, one of the main access points to the Serra de Tramuntana (very popular with motorcyclists), the famous Fira de s'Oliva, a festival dedicated to 'green gold', takes place every year on the third weekend of November.
On 18 and 19 November 2023, the village hosted the olive fair and its precious by-product, oil, as well as everything related to the cultivation of olive trees. During these two days, the streets were filled with stalls offering a wide range of tasty local gastronomic products and handicrafts.
The traditional dances of the 'caparrots' and 'dimonis' are the centrepiece of the festival and we recommend you do not miss them!
For the people of Mallorca, this event is a must, not only for the opportunity to buy freshly pressed olive oil of excellent quality at affordable prices, but also to enjoy the lively party atmosphere.
