Cap de Formentor: new access regulations 2026
For 2026, the DGT (Dirección General de Tráfico), the municipality of Pollença, the Government Delegation and the Consell de Mallorca have decided to change the closure period for the access road to Cap de Formentor. The new rules for the 2026 season will be as follows:
The road will be closed from 15 May to 15 October between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on the last section of the MA 2210 road. Specifically, from the Mirador de ES COLOMER, where you will find a large car park, to the Faro de Formentor.
As in previous years, access will be possible on foot, by bicycle or by public transport (see article).
