The island of Majorca is particularly rich in beaches and we can count more than 300 of them along the more than 550 km of coastline. We could tell you the 'secret' beaches to reach but that would be an illusion. Today, with the technology at our disposal (google Earth, drone footage, social media, etc.etc.) there are no more secret places. The difference is only in places, beaches, that are easy to reach or difficult to reach. Logically, the more difficult the route, the fewer people we will find at our destination. Leaving aside all the beaches that can only be reached by sea and all those that involve long and arduous walks, we will only give you directions to reach the most famous beaches, with convenient parking and refreshment facilities, via medium-easy roads. Many areas considered protected zones are poorly signposted but entering them with a motor vehicle is considered an environmental offense and is severely punishable (arrest + fine).
-Tramuntana beaches: few but good. La Serra de Tramuntana in addition to having the
most beautiful road in Mallorca to ride a motorbike, it also offers a few possibilities for a refreshing swim in one of the island's most beautiful seas.
A dozen beaches can all be reached with our Ducatis, all with parking and refreshment points where you can eat or simply have a coffee overlooking the sea. For some, the route is of medium difficulty, due to a few hairpin bends and some narrow passages. Ask us for more information.
-Eastern side beaches: the coves. More than 40 coves with beach, sand, rocks. Cala Millor with its 2 km of sand is the largest. The other much smaller ones offer bathing possibilities in less crowded crystal-clear waters. Easy to reach, they also have all the comforts.
-Beaches on the north-eastern side: on this side of the island we could count a dozen beaches, but in reality we can say that this is a single beach almost 12 km long. Reached by easy routes, they are all equipped with countless comforts; from the Chiringuito by the sea to the starred restaurant with a terrace overlooking the bay. Some close to villages or towns are suitable for those who prefer equipped beaches surrounded by Mallorcan sand.
-Eastern side beaches: the coves. More than 40 coves with beach, sand, rocks. Cala Millor with its 2 km of sand is the largest. The other much smaller ones offer bathing possibilities in less crowded crystal-clear waters. Easy to reach, they also have all the comforts.
-Beaches on the southern side: more or less 15 beaches, including the famous Es Trenc beach, which with the nearby Ses Covetes and Sa Rapita form more than 3 km of sand. Easy to reach, they are fully equipped with parking, refreshment areas and everything you might need.
-Palma de Mallorca: its beaches. Contrary to what one might imagine, although Palma de Mallorca is a large metropolis facing the sea, it has some very valuable beaches in its immediate vicinity. Since these beaches can be reached on foot or by convenient buses by those who decide not to move around the island on their own, they will be the most crowded. A nice beach in the city is certainly a beautiful thing but we want to enjoy the bike by driving and crossing the whole island far and wide. The journey has no destination but the journey is the destination.
