The island of Menorca, defined by its inhabitants as ‘The last paradise of the Mediterranean’, is an island that is only 1 hour away from Majorca by fast boat. Despite being so close to Majorca, it is completely different from it. Suffice it to say that many Majorcans choose it as their holiday or weekend destination. Small but extremely beautiful from a landscape, nature and cultural point of view, it is well suited for a motorbike trip that can also be done in a day.
You can set off with your Ducati from the port of Alcudia in the north of the island of Majorca early in the morning on a fast ferry and enjoy the day on Menorca by motorcycling around, taking a swim in one of its precious coves or visiting one of the 2 important towns: Mahon and Ciutadella. Don't forget that Menorca is famous for its cow's cheese from green pastures, fresh fish and its typical restaurants offering the best gastronomy in the Balearic Islands. You will be able to visit places like the Faro de Favàritx, Cova de Xoroi (cave bar), the village of Binibeca vell, Monte Toro, (from which you can see the whole island and even Mallorca), the fortress of La Mola.
In the evening you can return by fast boat to Alcudia.
